Whoa! I’ve been searching for crazy gifts I can give my “dude with an attitude” friend and came across this blog.  I thought the gift ideas on that post were too unconventional for my pal, though.  He may be a whacko, but I think a personalized bar sign that gives a hint to his personality will be a better choice.

Jolly people like my dude friend would appreciate a tinge of humor in his gifts, for sure, and there are some cool gifts in that blog post.  But there are some limits to insanity, so make sure that you don’t overdo it when you’re trying to think of unique gifts for your friends.

Make sure your gifts do not offend the recipient any which way. Exercise some restraint, and just think that your friend maybe in front of other people when he opens the gift. His wife or children may be with him when he opens the gift  and they may not see the humor, but instead find your gift offensive.  Also, try not to make fun of your friend’s bald head and put the joke permanently on a mug! You may think it’s funny and cute, but he may not! Don’t be surprised then if he no longer talks to you afterwards!
