Going Green this Christmas?
This year, maybe we can all start a new family tradition that will impact not just our children’s future, but their children’s as well. It’s becoming more popular to “go green” this Christmas, but I hope that it is not just a short lived fad that will die out after the holidays are over. In my own way, I’m starting to put in my list green gifts for my dear girl friends, who I think should all get this organic eco-tote which I’ll have personalized for each of them. It may seem a bit extreme for some to be reminded that with the holiday celebrations also come the reckless high energy consumption or that those Christmas wrappers will end up in landfills. But there’s a Green Christmas movement that’s on the rise these days, and they even have a Green Santa who’ll remind kids the importance of helping save the environment especially this Christmas season! We can all do our little contributions to making this planet more livable for the future generation by going green this Christmas. Although it really should be more of an everyday commitment, let’s all try and be more environment conscious during the holidays.
